Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice

This Privacy Policy explains how EduThink & MassHiring OS (SprintHire) collects, processes, protects, and stores personal data of candidates, students, and website visitors under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), 2023 of the Republic of India.

Section 1

1. Statutory Notice Under DPDP Act 2023 (Section 5)

In compliance with Section 5 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, this notice is presented to all users before or at the time of collecting personal data. By accessing EduThink & MassHiring OS (SprintHire) and registering for placement courses, syllabus trackers, or PYQ portals, you give your affirmative consent for the specified, lawful purposes set out below.

Key Commitment: We collect only the minimum data required to facilitate placement preparation, generate personalized test performance analytics, and notify candidates about relevant campus hiring drives.

2. Categories of Personal Data Collected

We collect and process the following categories of digital personal data provided voluntarily by users:

Identity & Contact Data

Full Name, Email address, Contact phone number, College/University name.

Academic & Eligibility Records

Graduation Year (e.g. 2026 Batch), Engineering Branch (CSE, IT, ECE), B.Tech CGPA, 10th & 12th percentages, Active backlogs count.

Assessment & Performance Telemetry

Mock test scores, pseudocode compiler tracing history, time spent per question, and sectional readiness benchmarks.

3. Purpose Limitation & Lawful Processing

Your personal data is collected and processed strictly under Section 4 and Section 6 of the DPDP Act 2023 for:

Evaluating candidate eligibility against published TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Cognizant cutoffs.
Providing customized test feedback and 18-Phase Placement Roadmap milestones.
Dispatching critical mass recruitment drive alerts, test commencement dates, and syllabus updates.

4. Your Rights as a Data Principal (Sections 11–14)

As an Indian citizen and Data Principal under the DPDP Act 2023, you hold full statutory control over your personal data:

Right to Access (Sec. 11)Request a complete summary of all personal data held in our systems.

Right to Correction (Sec. 12)Update inaccurate CGPA, contact details, or graduation year in your profile.

Right to Erasure (Sec. 12)Request complete, permanent deletion of your profile, test records, and account data.

Right to Grievance (Sec. 13)Expeditious redressal of privacy complaints through our designated Grievance Officer.

Section 5

5. Data Retention & Security Measures

We implement TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and strict role-based access controls to safeguard your data against accidental loss or unauthorized access. Candidate test telemetry is retained only for the duration of the active campus hiring season (maximum 24 months) or until an erasure request is received.
